We went to see a friends blue grass band play at a Honky Tonk bar in Indy. I was kinda scared of the clientele. But before the band played a guy did a small speech about inclusion and everyone cheered. And there was a vegan menu and a sign that said “shut the fuck up”. Things can still be good.

I've been guilty of drawing something and going "I worked so hard on this! Why doesn't anybody want it?!". Comics aren't for everybody. YOUR comics aren't for every comics fan. Make your comics because you want to. And def not for fame, money, or likes. The second thing is always nice though.

It's hard to know what to say or whether it's even worth adding to the doom - what I will say is buy your trans friends' weird zine, their album, their art game - buy them a beer or a soda or a meal - give them some ko-fi money for doing absolutely nothing. We gotta protect trans kids and adults.
