Putting the canned RPG I made back up as public on itchio since I think some would want to play it as a curiosity. I personally don't think it's the best of games but it has an audience I think. itsmirror.itch.io/mirrorfallact1

Pushed a fix to itch io that makes the wall jumping take priority over preforming a dive when trying to walljump. Missed that while testing somehow.

Louder for the people in the back: 👏 ChatGPT 👏 is 👏 not 👏 a 👏 truth 👏 machine 👏

Pushed midair dives to the build on itchio since I think it's now both polished and fun enough to use. #gamedev #godotengine #indiedev #lowpoly

Epic bellysliding mechanics

www.youtube.com/watch?v=eC32... Was reminded of this videos existence. Its a classic.

I was really tired and stressed out when I did the original iteration of the dive, so here's a reworked version now that I had sleep. I still need to add jumping out of the ground slide, however.

Mario 64 if it was absolute peak

I don't think it'll be put into the game the more as I test the more I feel it doesn't work right, that and I think I've been pushing my scope as a solodev a bit too much.

Added in diving from a jump. I'm kinda split on this as I feel it doesn't suit this type of game design. #gamedev #godotengine #indiedev #lowpoly

The Bird from Hop Top

New additions to the to-do list based off itch feedback. I am very thankful to those giving suggestions! When you do things solo for so long you kinda become used to flaws in your game, which makes it harder to track down what needs to be improved. Hearing new opinions helps track down what to fix

Crash Bandicoot 64: Lost Media Hunters episode 4

Glover as a game is fascinating that it made it past the concept stage as a dev whole team really saw the idea of tight and responsive controls, and threw it out the window for rolling a ball around. The developers had VISION.

IDK if this is a spicy take, but I've never really been much of a Crash Bandicoot person. I've tried the original trilogy and 2 is the only one that really stuck with me.

What

This video feels like one of those memes I'd make where I take random images and screenshots and put it into movie maker. I know that wasn't the intent as its to document the game but lol www.youtube.com/watch?v=NR-w...

Pushed the updated camera to itchio. I feel its now probably the smoothest the game has felt.

Having to balance between a smooth camera that doesn't feel nauseating and a camera that sometimes clips though walls is so hard

I've been thinking about Pac-Man Ghost Zone a lot as of lately. I know it was canned because it very much would have killed the Pac-Man IP but I really want to play it regardless lol

I'll probably reuse some of these designs for The Artistic Adventures of Painting Gal

Decided to rework how the camera functions when close to walls. Originally, it would keep itself very close to the player, but now it pans up to give itself more breathing room. A good change, but it'll need a lot of testing to ensure its for the better. #gamedev #godotengine #indiedev #lowpoly

4 AM brain speaking but I genuinely think a Wallace & Gromit Luigi's Mansion-like would go super hard.

This is how boss fights will play out in my video game
