I mean yes, but also Aberdeen, part of Bellingham, and half of Everett are in the interface zone. It's a fact of historic development in WA State that cities generally abut nature, for (mostly) better or worse.

THIS is the importance of parking reform in a nutshell. Parking mandates are based on pseudoscience and have literally paved over our cities. Removing parking requirements does NOT remove parking. Rather, it lets builders determine how much they need for their project. It opens opportunity.

Everyone should read or listen to the new book "Careless People" to understand just how psychopathic and non-human Mark is. Any human decency that could exist just doesn't, and he's gotten more power hungry over time.

Cutting through wetland and having to do major remediation and having issues during construction is an environmental issue. Already clarified it wasn't Love Canal or anything. Not really interested in going tit for tat online. You can agree or disagree with my opinion.

Schedule has been delayed for 10+ years, costs tripled from LPA estimate, route misses major density. I don't know how you look at that and not see a mess.

The shallow tunnel construction caused major delays in design and has caused more delays during construction. Environmental was a stretch in the sense that it implied a toxic spill or something. That hasnโ€™t happened to my knowledge. But itโ€™s been a mess regardless.

Iโ€™d be shocked if 90 is okay. I-5 to Canada might have issues in the flats north of Mt Vernon if there are soil issues from tidal waves.

In terms of the right things, itโ€™s all talk and no walk, but rather pointing to the walk that was done in the 90s
