There's still the presence of an "artificial" flavor that I've come to expect from instant noodles. Like, there was no way this was going to compare to from scratch, homemade beef ramen. But for a quick fix, on-the-go noodle soup, it's probably the best you can ask for.

As for the flavor, the addition of MSG really does make all the difference. Americans have had an aversion to MSG born of an admittedly racist bias. But we're LONG overdue to get over it. MSG makes things taste better. PERIOD. It's a naturally occurring umami flavor made from fermented sugar cane.

Firstly, I appreciate the convenience of the packaging. They're even kind enough to put a folding, disposable fork in the cup along with the broth packet. All I needed to supply was the hot water which, if I'm on the go, I can get for free at almost any gas station.
