I'm an independent voter & I admit there have been people on both sides I either liked or disliked. I have never voted for an independent candidate because they will never win. So I pick the best candidate that I feel closely matches my beliefs. I admit I NEVER voted for Trump or ever would.

The measles vaccine provides long-lasting immunity, but it might not last a lifetime for everyone. Studies indicate that immunity can last for at least 15 years after the initial immunization. So the outbreak in Texas could affect some adults who have had the vaccine when they were a child.

When we lived overseas the American bases rounded everything up to the nickel. Therefore you may not think about it but it does raise the cost of all your purchases. Over a year it does amount to a bit depending on your spending habits.

It doesn't matter what they ask him and if he answers right or wrong. The Republicans will vote for him anyway. The Republicans have just dropped the standard of qualifications for that job and they don't care!

I think if he fills out any paperwork when applying for a bank loan, the bank will ask on the application if he is a convicted felon, he has to now check the box. So if he doesn't disclose that he is, it could lead to loan denial when the discrepancy is discovered.

Obama has always been a graceful person in public! It's nice to see how a former President carries himself showing how a President (Obama) who is also a former President (Obama) should treat people he probably doesn't like! Thank you President Obama for showing us your grace again!

I told my husband that this affair between the two would only last 6 months into Trump's Presidency. I may be wrong and it may be shorter than that!

Putting Cheney on trial could make her into a hero and Trump the villain. Bringing Jan. 6 back into the spotlight would give Trump's treachery renewed focus and sap energy from the 100-day chaos festival he and Shadow President Elon Musk have promised.

The ongoing droughts in the US are causing significant trouble for US agriculture, leading to reduced crop yields, livestock challenges, & potential economic losses for farmers, particularly in the Western regions where water scarcity is most severe; this can impact food supply & prices for all.

IMO if you want people to become Vegan/Vegetarian instead of talking about animal rights one should emphasize the health benefits of eating vegetables. I have changed because 2 yrs ago I was diagnosed with cancer the docs have taken so much food away that I'm now between Vegan & Vegetarian.

Today I'm wondering who runs the House and Senate? Thought I once knew! This is what happens if there is a government shot down.

I'm not sure what one should do about social security but I did find this an interesting article that makes one think a little more on the subject.
