Fascinates me that canon Ed is much crueller than Izzy & Iz engages w violence with more honour, but Izzy is Ed's attack dog cos Ed "doesn't kill". Like, to Izzy, violence part of his job/life & he can engage with it pretty professionally & go home. To Ed, it's part of his psyche he can't reconcile
