I'm fairly nervous that we're going to become a stodgy team a la Conte. I didn't enjoy that football at all and I don't see the reasons for optimism in Frank. 8th is my prediction and out of cups once we can't get away with full 2nd string. Seems like a really good coach, but not what we need.

'if he starts badly it's a disaster' re: Ange. Doesn't the exact same apply to any new manager given we've just sacked a popular one? I'm not trying to undermine it just appears to be an odd critique. If we 'need to give him time' after building all this momentum then why make the change?

Any chance the club can sack Paul Coyte

Oh ffs 'Spurs' preparations for the 2024-25 campaign started with a visit from Desire Doue. The talented attacker, then playing for Rennes, was so intrigued by Postecoglou's project he made an undercover visit to the club's training ground in Enfield amid optimism a deal could be done.' Mokbel BBC

I can see an argument for Ange to leave. I thought pre final that Id be happy either way, if we went with a coach who would build in the same direction. The final changed things somewhat but i could still hold to this. What is baffling is hiring someone less successful + stylistically different.

I am waiting for confirmation, but - honestly - this is the lowest moment in my Spurs support - all 54 years of it. Forget relegation & losing finals, if confirmed, this is worse

Hiring Nuno again would at least have been funny.
