So I'm watching the new #Netflix Devil May Cry, and from what I can see, they're sort of combining the Dante from OG Devil May Cry and the DmC version. The animation style looks pretty cool, but I'm not crazy about the design of Ebony and Ivory. Suppose you take what you can get. Worth a watch.

Alexandere Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Frank Miller's Sin City, and James O'Barr's The Crow. Some of the greatest stories ever told in any medium. And buckets of blood.

This is far from a hot take, but I've noticed that more often than not, #Netflix will cancel a show regardless of how well it's doing. It can be a hit, like Yu Yu Hakusho or Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and it'll still get canned, leaving it unfinished, and unsatisfying. At least Cobra Kai ended.

Writers tend to feed off validation, not so much praise as feedback. I think a big part of the reason I've had a hard time working on scripts has been the lack of feedback I can receive as a result. Since I can't exactly share whatever I've been working on, I can't get the motivation to keep working

First impressions on the new Ranma 1/2 show on Netflix, the animation style is an interesting mix of modern anime and manga. And the fight scenes are awesome! I don't know if this classic needed to be redone, but I'm glad it was.
