Seven clans, man. Thirteen is too many.

Start the "level-one" characters with "Excalibur" in their possession. Now various other entities in the world are coming after them to get it. As GM/ Storyteller, you control the those, but it gives the players an overall chance to be proactive (do what they want) and reactive (here come rivals!).

Is the beer French or Italian? If yes to either, no to the drink.

I very vividly remember the time my grandfather, very firmly in the Matlock demographic, said of the Matlock in question, “He’ll get ‘em, that Mattock.” MATT. OCK. Must have been 35 years ago; I remember it like it was yesterday.

My Merrow is done for #mermay !!(hopefully next year I can make a few pieces for the month)

Sorry, everyone, I washed the car yesterday.

First full day of vacation, got up at a quarter to eight and updated Confluence. Need to adjust my behavior.

I’m off next week and I’ve got big plans, I tell you.

Yow, delicious. youtu.be/h5fWxY9IHkw?...

Saw a dude who looked like this one dude named Trevor

Taken from another thread in another place about bootstrapping a Vampire story, but I’m here way more than there, so to that end: Start with a neighborhood where all the characters have a reason to be. You don't have to care about the whole city at first (or ever...).

This is so fucking vile and also not surprising in any way and if you’re shocked then it’s time you start actively engaging in disability justice cause you’re gonna be double shocked when you learn it’s the tip of the iceberg.

In recent weeks, video game publishers Take-Two and EA both warned investors about potential "reputational" risks to the use of gen-AI in games. It's a problem that all game companies will soon need to confront: Players hate genAI. This week's column: www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...

I knew a dude who had this same perspective. His name was It, he had an early-Danzig body type, and he had a lizard named Leonard who he’d threaten to let eat people. He lived in a college town but it was unclear if he attended college.

NEW — Kelvin Membreño will be deported to El Salvador by ICE tomorrow. He’s the birth father of three US citizen daughters and has become an important part of their lives. Here their adoptive mother makes a last ditch plea to let him stay in the same country as the girls. A gutting guest essay:

NEW: “Former LA Deputy Mayor of Public Safety Plead Guilty to Threatening to Bomb City Hall Last Year” Sounds like the deputy mayor called in a fake bomb threat in an attempt to set up pro-Palestine organizers. Wonder what the city attorney's role is in all of this: www.justice.gov/usao-cdca/pr...

For those of you who know what day it is. youtu.be/yXDkbDxbcxU?...

Generations into the mire of treating societal investments as for-profit luxury commodities: The disease of neoliberalism is so rampant, the idea of universities as places of education takes a back seat to being "a crucial funding source for the nation’s oldest and wealthiest college." Depravity.

Cast the runes, magic digital soothsayer, and save me from the consequences of my actions.

Once again: You can have capitalism or you can have democracy, but you can't have both.

Look at that art. You can tell the heart’s in it.

This was at the core of much of my time running WoD in the latter part of my tenure with it. I didn’t want crossovers or collabs, as they diluted the themes of the WoD. When you have Iron Man, Yoda, Deku, and Damsel all together, you don’t get those worlds’ themes, you just have a costume party.

a dog at this bar has David Bowie eyes

Gave me flashbacks to Will Henry’s Tavern near the smoldering crater of the CCP office/ dead Target/ bombed-out Family Dollar in Stone Mountain, GA.

KILIMANJARO RISES LIKE OLYMPUS come on, man, that’s not even trying.
