the line between "obviously sarcastic, way too on-the-nose post" and "a reform candidate's genuine manifesto" is too thin nowadays

I haven't seen any games advertised like that (yet?), but "gridless" made the phrase "gridless sudoku" instantly pop into my head Which is probably a sign that it's not a great buzzword to use?

I miss when handhold consoles were actually a thing. Sure, it's easier to bring a Switch with you than a PS5, but that thing's still not going to fit in your pocket

I have respect for Wikipedia actually stating that 315 comes before 316 and comes after 314. This is the sort of academic rigour that LLMs just don't have

generating the art - sure, whatever, you don't want to pick up a pencil and want the rainforests to burn. Screw you but I can understand that. but asking AI for YOUR IDEAS???? Are you even a functioning human at this point. Where's your spark, your "ooh, I could do that", your goddamn imagination
comment in response to post
you might as well make a Dicey Dungeons mod, except instead of actually having a human soul and any spark of imagination - asking chatgpt to generate some vague slop and trying to implement crap like "Rerolls all of your d8s, giving a 20% chance to critically hit and slay an additional foe"

Like, my brain goes ding at the idea of making custom cards/characters/etc. Why would you ask AI to do that? Ideas are the fun part!!!!! Card descriptions are small, why would you ask AI to generate like 2 lines of text. And why would you send this to a random person like you're proud of it, ugh
comment in response to post
The "pitch" they gave was so far off what an actual card does. A wall of text that's ~4 times longer than any other card in the game? The only stats being an (INCONSISTENT) mana cost and an obviously wrong health? Also this is apparently a veteran player. Did they not read their "idea"?

This should 1000% not be allowed IMO, it feels like an exploit - you can't get this without editing game files a lot of the game is the combat animations, waiting for the AI to make its move; cutting that out easily snips off like 20% of your run time
