I grow stuff, like doing a bit of photography and dabble in politics. Of course, Scotland should have its independence.

More 'jam tomorrow' 🤷‍♂️

He promised much and has delivered sweet FA. He is a weak leader and for that reason, it's easier to appease the rich and powerful than to help solve the problems of the poorest in society. Add to that the increasing influence and power of the SPADS and it's a recipe for disaster.

😂... I genuinely thought you were talking about the Labour Party there!

Me too and the only reason I joined was to campaign for independence 🤷‍♂️

It didn't take long for new-new Labour to be overcome by power. How far removed from 'Labour' principles is this shower of tainted politicians!

Starmer has to be the meakest PM for a generation

This, from The Spectator! 😂

Such a lame excuse for a leader.

It'll end up nearer £100bn. Scandalous waste of money.

Too scary

Gary Lineker would be a good replacement!

Maybe presenters should wear tshirts and show off their muscles and tattoos. Also big hair, big lips, big... Show big pictures instead of using big words. Everything biggly. Present disinformation to keep them outraged too. Oh...🤔

The by-election campaign was awful. It smacked of the tories' previous campaigns against SNP. I'd suggest ignoring all other parties and focus on the benefits of a SNP government so far...and how independence will be the means to a successful future.

I'm fed up reading about trump.

But Norway's achievements are not 'the latest success story' but a consistent, enduring success story. Should Scotland not aspire to that?

Maybe watch episode 2 of 'Scandinavia' - Simon Reeve BBC2. This is probably what voters were after when they voted Labour. It also illustrates what is possible if Scotland was to have full control of its resources.

Voting Labour has made people poorer

He's always disruptive. Hardly biased. I'm sure the Presiding Office would throw out other idiots doing the same. He's just juvenile.

Looooong over due.

I'm convinced the Labour Party has been infiltrated by the Tufton Street mob. It's the only explanation for following such extreme right-wing policies. If they had any sense they'd expel the 'special advisors' and scrap dependency on focus groups. Return to why people voted for them.

Same. Watched it last night. We are shafted over and over again, and still there are people in Scotland who think that's okay. Imagine our lives (and our parents' lives) if we'd been "allowed" to reap the rewards of North Sea oil, instead of all profits being funnelled down to the City of London.

I knew about Norway's oil wealth investment but to actually see and hear how incredibly beneficial to the population it has been, was just mind-blowing. Unfortunately, few will see it and less will care.

Let's face it, Westminster IS a pantomime. I was hoping Labour might refresh the place, but no.

Is this what people across the UK voted for? Someone's got to Starmer. He looks terrified most of the time now.

He could save time and restart the Rwanda contract and be, you know, full Tory. That seems to be his plan. Completely bereft of ideas of his own.

Makes me laugh out loud. A country of 5million and the only stories we get are ferries, NHS and football.

That's just Labour now. Excellent.

Wasn't Ben & Jerry's sold to Unilever?

In reality, there's more than 1 dead party walking. Westminster is a zombie-fest just now.

A past Labour voter - but wouldn't vote for this mob if you paid me. All traditional labour policies have been thrown under a bus in favour of some weird 'optics' developed from special advisers. The apathy and acceptance from back-bench Labour MPs is equally at odds with a normal democracy.
