That’s tough but you cannot put a price on love and dignity. Thank you.

Your first guest was very interesting. Unusual for her to not get caught up in group think especially with a father in the IDF.

For the inevitable internet crash when power goes off your cards don’t work, you need a few days supplies. Look how screwed people were during the last storm! As Roy Keane says, “Fail to prepare - prepare to fail”.

Sad but aviation is risky, more so when the military are training (and I speak with 19 years experience as a military pilot).

What was interesting was the last shot which showed all the people and equipment required to do an outside broadcast. You guys make it look easy so I suppose that it’s thanks to them.

Fantastic work. Do the local people ever have any objections or problems with it? Is there ever a problem with vermin?

But surely this is what Americans voted for? He’s only done what he said he would do! And that’s democracy. Sometimes it hurts.

Fundamentalism is ugly, wherever it is found. What is striking is the amount of support that he is getting on social media. Especially from the usual suspects.

It’s the day where you are obligated to polish off all the mince pies and fresh cream before they go off. Also the malteesers. And the After Eights. And of course the two opened bottles of wine. I hate waste.

It’s a strange emotion when you do something like this. Happy or sad? Maybe both?
Anyway, have a very happy Christmas and New Year.

It seems to be an English thing used especially in football where the ground is definitely not the floor!

Hopefully it’s not the flu and just some poxy seasonal lurgi. As long as you’re back in form next week, then a couple of days in the bed now might be recommended.

When people worry about the potential of bullying after a justified action, I always think of the Dunnes Stores workers who were initially vilified for the strike against S Africa. Never be afraid to do the right thing.

Tried the Macon Village last night. Wonderful!

Tried another branch. No luck! But I have saved a couple of bottles of La Crema which is possibly the nicest Chardonnay I’ve ever had. So all is not lost.

Managed to get the Macon Villages but the Chablis was sold out in my local. I’ll try another branch tomorrow.

#aldiwineclinic. Best Chardonnay for under €15. And best for a special occasion but less than €50. Many thanks.

If we all could just make life (briefly) better for an animal, we would make life better for ourselves. Thanks for this moment of pleasure.

Give it a bit more time. I think that robust discussion will come as soon as people get used to the vibe.

I looked up the Sally Barnes smoked salmon and nearly had a heart attack at the price! I won’t get it this year but it’s now firmly on my wish list. Excellent article, by the way!!!

If you want decent print journalism, you need to pay for it. Otherwise you get the populist snippets that are shared on line, all of which have an agenda.
That’s the great thing about radio. It’s free and usually well balanced. Driving and listening to the radio is an under appreciated pleasure.

Sometimes you need a quiet one just to recharge for the next one. I did nothing last year but am rating to go this year.
