I think the closest thing to that was that LD Beghtol wrote the 69 Love Songs 33 1/3 book, a neat little oral history, and also sang a couple songs on the album itself.

That’s so funny! The store was named Euclid because the original location was on a Euclid Ave (or Street?) but they weren’t even there that long in the almost 40 years they’ve been around. They opened location in New Orleans, as well, but I’ve never had the chance to visit.

Got the job straight out of high school, stayed longer than I should have. The owner was toxic and difficult to work for but I loved the store and my other coworkers with all my heart.

I worked at Euclid Records in St. Louis from 2004 until 2014. I have some photos here of the old building, but we moved to another location around 2012.

Mmhmm, agreed. They’re mostly fun. Interesting choices of directors through the first few. Lots of fun stunts and dumb action movie stuff. I’m not sure I can completely recommend them, but they were good escapism.

I was pretty late to them so i only saw the last one in theaters. They’re a lot of dumb fun. Action movies are this summer’s coping mechanism for me. I had never seen a Missions: Impossible, but now I’ve seen all but the newest over the course of a week.

It’s been a rough week but I’m seeing a 4 movie John Wick marathon this Saturday and that’s getting me through it.
