But we’d sooner ignore this and focus on dismantling the triple lock and shutting down opposition speaking time… this is the most right wing gov Ireland has ever seen

We would also like to reiterate that any stories suggesting that we had any knowledge of the door being open while the horse was still contained are false. We at The Barn have always maintained a high level of professionalism when it comes to matters such as these. (Just look at all of our awards)

There was no sensationalism. If you read my profile I explain I am posting in a personal capacity. There’s only so much information 300 characters per post allows

I like facts too! But unfortunately I can’t. I’m taking this from conversations had with acquaintances in my local area and friends on LinkedIn who are recently ‘Looking for Work’. BUT, interesting observation: the vast majority are coming from SMEs. Never a good omen for local economies.

I agree that they were too centrist but I believe a Green Party is always going to scapegoated. What I would like to see is climate action being pushed by leftist alliances. That’s how we create radical policy and ensure it’s pushed through with governments held accountable for inaction

Absolutely. It’s discouraging to see centre-left parties (LAB, SD) flirt with the establishment. Only PBP-S have refused coalition with the centre-right and they’re down 2 seats. Uphill battle ahead

Anyone whose arguments are rooted in hypothetical histories are so unserious. Gaza is an ONGOING crisis that’s happening NOW. All of this ‘what if?’ rhetoric only seeks to push debate away from what’s actually happening and allow the massacres to continue.
