Itās a different guy! I also got this mixed up with James SA Corey, thatās how I found it. Havenāt done Mercy of gods yet but I finished the Expanse last year and had a blast. Would recommend for Star Trek fans. Itās different enough but has some of that hard sci fi we all love

This was a great intro to Cosby and the genre. I thought Iād sussed it by the third chapter and was glad that I was wrong as it made it worth it. Some very good character work and compelling story. Iād recommend for fans of True Detectives tv show āļøāļøāļøāļø

I have this issue for sure but I try and tell myself itās a good problem to have. As long as youāre enjoying what youāre doing I donāt think thereās such thing as too much reading!

If you havenāt carried on with Bloodsworn I am happy to say that once youāve got all the names down in Shadow of the Gods thereās no massive influx of characters in the other books. Iām hoping itās the same with FFATF

I feel like this book meandered to its conclusion and was not very satisfying, I found myself asking āwhat exactly is the author trying to say here?ā and not really coming to any meaningful conclusion (2/2) šš

Yes definitely, I want to see if I feel the same way with book 2 or if doesnāt have the same problems as most introductions have happened now. I have high hopes as most of my problems stem from the first 200 pages

You totally should. Each book builds nicely onto the prior one, bigger stakes/ more characters introduced

Oh dude youāre telling me! I finished Wheel of Time and the Expanse this year. Iām trying to stay away from big series for a while but Malazan is looming

So bittersweet! I totally understand wanting to clear the decks with series. Itās too easy to start a dozen book 1s and not actually finish anything

30ish % through and this is great! The style is very visual, I can see this definitely making a great series or film
