Go for the ease of reading, which can only be good as it encourages more people to read - specifically your stuff - or make it cheaper for them to access it. A bit of a Catch-22 I'd say. Peeps will only pay out on something they know. A lot 4 you to consider - good luck :)

Doing PoD I'm rather honed in by what my PoD will do, which is pretty standard & presumably as cheap as poss to maximise their profit margins.
Softer fonts help, but I've noticed that my PoD automatically resets any off standard font to a Serif. Not helpful, but there you are.
So your choice is...

I do like to consider the ease of a read, altho' usually w others in mind. I know a number of dyslexics & encouraging them to read at all is a winner. Usually they require strategies &/or colour filters to aid text reading.
Ideally, I'd offer a print solution to this/filters for ebooks. But...

In the process of launching The 49th Gate - 4-book trilogy. Bk I, The Portal's 👇 due out end of this month. The other 3 books will come out quarterly thru the year. Currently, doing rewrites of Bk 4.
