gender is complicated and made up and to quote a friend of mine, "gendering me is your problem"

My gender is guy*
Man never quite felt 100% right. Im realizing im a little more non binary than I thought and a lot of that is also getting over internalized transphobia and the fear that I wouldn't be taken seriously or that id denied care if I didn't publicly id as binary. Still he/him tho.

This was my first "celebrity" death and it broke my heart. I cant believe its been over 20 years. He was worth it. It was worth trying, and I can't imagine the feelings of those who worked with him. Beautiful art.

i have big feelings about the fact that we are not separate from the living things we share the world with. its like getting to be a character in your favorite story. it doesn't make me feel small, or insignificant. It makes me feel part of the thing I love the most, and I could cry with joy

Lots of spiders have poor vision, but jumping spiders are visual hunters and need to be able to judge distances, and their two front facing eyes have great vision! I don't know if its curiosity or caution, but they will turn to look right at you. That's what this one did :)

Photo of a Bold jumping spider, Phidippus audax, on a pale wall. It is a juvenile, dark in color with an orange spot on its rump. It looks up at the camera.

Listen I saw Princess Mononoke too young and between the demon worm boar nightmare, the decapitated wolf head springing to action, the whole VIBE of the forest spirit, and the goo of death? A little traumatizing but now its my favorite shit. Upset me with fucked up animals, please.

I love Moder from the Ritual so much because she feels like so much more than just a monster or creature that attacks relentlessly. She has goals, wants something from you. Shes ancient and impossible and difficult to comprehend, but fascinating and strangely beautiful. Shed win w me im bowing

You get a split second of "what is THAT" before you're incapacitated by your brain filling with burning static and your mouth tastes like battery acid just from being in this things presence. You thought it was just an animal. Its worse than a monster.

ive spent days of my life listening to nosleep narrations on youtube and this show has existed the WHOLE TIME? And it took me clicking on a video about it THIS YEAR to find out THATS what it is? Man I need to listen to more fiction podcasts.

honestly i think we tend to be uncomfortable with it because of how common it is to complain about us if we voice any disagreement. even saying youre an atheist out loud gets you dirty looks and misplaced pity. im starting to want to be less nice about it

I mean I knew the Christofascism was coming. I don't know why I'm surprised. But theres a naive part of me thats still always like "Wait. Can they do that?"

My mind just goes to the Wall and the Gender Traitors in Handmaids Tail like. Eugh. Also I know we blur the lines between church and state to an embarrassing degree, but this feels particularly bold and disgusting.

Ew. I always wonder what these people want transmascs to do. Disappear or reassimilate if they still find us salvageable ig. Absolutely vile. The word submit in these contexts makes me wanna gag.
