Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the last times we relied on the UK here in Aussie was when you guys surrendered 20,000 of our troops to the Japanese in Singapore. Then, in the 50's conducted nuclear tests on our mainland leaving us with a few thousand irradiated soldiers and no compensation.

Broadcasters have been bagging out sports teams since inception. Comedians have been bagging out everything else for longer. What make the Matilda's so precious? The whole thing doesn't make sense, especially when all he basically said was that he doesn't like watching women's soccer.

What was so bad about what he said? I don't get this at all???

To be fair he has just been cancelled for being a comedian on his comedy show doing comedy.

But the funny thing is that 10 year old girls don't go on drunken rampages in London.

I think he said he'd prefer that, make him watch one of their games!

I still don't get what was so bad?

I'm not saying it's standard operating procedure, but a few years back, when we started to look seriously at political donations, the next thing we know we're having a plebiscite on marriage equality! Dang distracted again!

Err Okay... Sorry dude,
If it's your supposition that diverting 1mm from the narrative is akin to being a Trump supporter, then I can't even begin to imagine what you would surmise as going totally off the rails!

There are numerous articles but I can't find any actual numbers.

So what's the point in being on a public forum if you're not open to listening to others? Doesn't make sense?

Hi Louise, I hope you can help me. I'm researching the Neo-Nazi presence in Australia but I can't locate any actual data. You've mentioned that Victoria has the highest percentage, do you have access to actual numbers either state or nationwide? Please, can you drop me a link.
Thanks,
Jack

Yes you can!-> It's all so unAustralian! Bring back the days when nobody gave a stuff about Australia Day! All this crap kicked off during Howard's nationalism drive in the 90's. Before then Australia Day was like Labour Day or the Queen's Birthday. You just shrugged and said "You beaut, a day off!"

I'm an Aussie and new to Bluesky and I just want to put it out there that Australia is heaps better! We're way more friendly and open to new ideas, hence our colloquialism, "She'll be right mate!" The citizens of Bluesky, on the other hand, will block you the second you stray 1mm from the narrative.

She'll be right, just stick in a few more of them windmills to offset it!

If kids are watching tennis then they probably need some form of excitement in their lives.
I remember putting my life savings of $8 on Gala Supreme in the 1973 Melbourne Cup at 14/1 from memory. It's one of my most favourite recollections from what was a pretty run-of-the-mill childhood.

Our country must be a horrible place to live for non-whites. The level of racism in this country is unbelievable! In fact if you compare the racism in other countries to Australia, we must rank as one of the high... Oh wait, never mind...

You mean like the way you've simplified this post so it's easily understandable by those who don't speak English as their first language?

I'm pretty sure you still have the right to bare arms in the Scandinavian countries, Canada and even NZ, it's probably just a bit cold to do so at periods.

Besides the multitudes who were saying, "Who's Alf" and "What's a stamp?"
