In the hospital, while being prepped for an exam, I caught a chunk of Robert Eggers' The Northman in SyFy. I've seen it a few times before, and I only love it even more every time I watch it. It's a morbidly bleak story, as familiar as it is beautiful. 4.5/5 jake-o-lanterns
