Saw lots of games at SGF I haven't talked about yet, so here's a short thread! POSSESSORS (Heart Machine) Extremely slick metroidvania with a modern hellworld setting (think Devilman). Immediately just feels good to jump and attack. They told me the combat was inspired by Smash Bros?? Cool.

You don’t need to be close to a cause to care about it but periodic reminder that my dad immigrated here from Mexico in the 80s, only eventually gaining citizenship. Supporting my work means supporting immigrants regardless of their status. Without them I would not be here.

My copy of “How A Game Lives” by @jacobgeller.com arrived & it looks glorious in it’s printed form, the large format and lush paper stock are a real treat & the writing within the book is superb. I had the pleasure of art directing the illustrations in the book with Jacob and they look wonderful.
