I saw that too and I think its really stupid analysis on NBCs part. Disrespecting Donald Trump should not be a negative story. Nothing about that SOTU was normal and if that's a narrative leadership is worried about running up against build a better narrative.

You can't say the senate democrats are fighting for the American people and then sit silently during the SOTU. What are the actual, tangible things being done by elected democrats (not advocacy groups) that are resisting this administration?
