Such an unusual Christmas - in a different country, no tree, no cooking, no presents. I'm not sad - it's memorable, if nothing else - but I'm looking forward to returning to the States and having a proper Christmas next year. Ex-pat life isn't all roses, y'all.

I made a mistake yesterday. Over on FB, someone posted a pic of a woman with obviously botched plastic surgery, asking for reactions. I said, Her body, her choice. While some cheered, but MOST snarled nastiness or, in one heavily liked comment, called me 'a silly woman'. Ugh. Lesson learned.

I've woken up feeling very different.In my journal, my Future Self came out swinging. I wrote: I WILL NOT BE COWED by circumstances. I refuse to allow them to dim my ambition. In fact, it has amplified it. Venus into Capricorn, 11/11 - the energy is feeding my 'Just watch me' resolve.
