2) That a policy report published on the governmentâs website is predicting Canada is currently on track to become a dystopia. The report isnât THAT bleak and its authors made it VERY clear it is not meant to be seen as predicting the future.

This is how I was raised. Small town in rural Manitoba's bible belt. I was well into my 20s before I started reading party platforms and realizing I was voting for horrible policy that directly hurt me. But so many, maybe even a large majority, never come to that realization.

Perhaps not a cult but certainly not independent thinking

My parents had always voted Conservative. Then my brother and myself explained to them who they actually were and what they voted for. After that my parents never voted Conservative again. They were just voting for the party that the rest of their families did. Theyâre both passed now.

I was shocked then pleased to see that the conservatives are running an ad featuring this dipshit. Guess they think heâs a winning endorsementđ

Ugly and sinister. A traitor to our country. Take any awards away from him. Arrogant and unpatriotic to our country. CSIS should watch him closely. Unbelievable. Not rocket science.

having to watch all his commercials while trying to enjoy a hockey game is unbearable! I keep the remote close at hand to switch to another channel when this fascist pig comes on the air...

Thereâs no real competition between the two - Mark Carney is the real deal. And he stepped up at the right time. Pierre Poilievre is not a bad guy, but his time has passed - he rose to prominence on the idea that Trudeau needed replacing. Well thatâs happened, and PM Carney has covered the field.

Canada needs Carney who will fight for Canadian sovereignty, not someone whoâd sell out to Trump.

Mark Carney will rise to meet the challenges that Canada is facingâŚ
Pierre Poilievre cannot even run an honest campaign; how would he be able

Trump did the impossible and gave Canadians threat to unite us, instead of us beefing over stupid BS.

Monday, April 28 will hopefully prove this shift is accurate. Iâm seeing a lot of liberal lawn signs in my riding this election, when in years past, they were primarily conservative. Poilievreâs riding is right next to mine and Iâm not seeing a lot of support for him either đ¤đź

To Americans, you see that orange line? This is progressive voters stepping up to block the conservatives despite our disdain for the Liberal Party. Take note, sometimes it's about more than yourself when taking on fascists. I'd rather argue with a Lib about funding than a Con about human rights.

Youâd think youâd see the Trump Effect in the country most affected by Trump. Sometimes outsiders can see things more clearly.
