Correct. But, “supposed to” is meaningless under the regime. Masked men in vans aren’t supposed to kidnap citizens. The “leader” isn’t supposed to spend my tax money on his personal bday parade. Violent J6-ers aren’t supposed to be pardoned. Wars aren’t supposed to start w/o congress input.

And therein lies the rub. When a marine is ordered by the Dictator & immediate commanding officer to arrest/shoot civilians, and that marine’s family member is among those civilians, what then? It’s the part that few are saying out loud. It’s the “brother against brother” part of the Civil War.

“EVERYONE, KEEP MARCHING & PROTESTING & GLITTER-B*MBING. I’M WATCHING! (IF YOU DON’T,) YOU’RE PLAYING RIGHT INTO THE HANDS OF THE ENEMY. (JUST) DO IT!”
There. Fixed it.

In more than 50 years, the US fought multiple wars (right or wrong) as a DEMOCRATIC nation. It is a “thing people worry about” now because we are a FASCIST nation under a demented DICTATOR who has FIRED all competent military leaders. Former 50yrs of rules, history, experience do not apply here.

I’m betting that Bart wrote this on the chalkboard in an opening sequence of the SIMPSONS somewhere in the archives of the series. They’ve predicted pretty much everything else in political and cultural affairs.

If I were approached aggressively by this band of thugs, I’d assume they were r@pists / serial killers / kidnappers, and would call 911 to report stalking, harrassment, fear of assault, whilst managing my primal fight/flight response, and defending myself by any means necessary.

This woman always has & always will assume that a masked man who accosts me is a r@pist/serial-killer. I wil defend myself accordingly. Period.

So basically, these cops are the proud lineage of the LAPD crew who nearly beat Rodney King to death in 1991, sparking a 6-day riot upon their acquittal.
Yes, King broke the law, as did those cops when they pummeled him and passengers, unaware they were being filmed. And they still walked free.

Yeah, as much as I understand the “optics” aspect of this, that’s still too many fully armed trigger-happy uniformed MAGAts for my comfort level.

Ah, I see he’s creating a good solid permanent location under which to bury the next wife who meets a mysterious and untimely end. Watch your back, Melania. On second though, “I really don’t care, do U?”…

I had to head up to PA after stopping in DC on Fri for Vets rally. It was great to meet you! (Gal with the dog in the stroller)! THANK YOU for all you do and say!

Absolutely. And if any anti-*Rumper is swayed by this I’ve-seen-the-light-please-buy-my-cars BS… then they are no different than Cult-MAGA. If Musk was capable of “seeing the light” (thru the fog of endless drug use), he would have destroyed DOGE on the way out. Now, we have Vought to deal with.

Yaaassss!!!
Saw you at the DC rally in March… and will be out there among the crowd on 6/6/25.
Love the clip from the new special. Thanks for your inspiring words and energy! Your impact is effective and meaningful. Thank you!!

“Security Theater” - perfect description.
Last trip I took in the air was 2018. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll fly again until this Regime is obliterated… after which I’ll definitely consider Pre-Check (if it still exists).

I fully welcome an iconic implosion of the Regime, resulting solely from revengeful narcissistic in-fighting.
Someone call the midwest states… we’re gonna need a lot more popcorn.

Gotta say, I’m inspired by the extraordinary courage of the unarmed citizens (rightfully) fighting so intensely against overly armed, spinelessly masked, wildly awkward “ICE” cowards. We-The-People are the only designated “saviors” in this current hellscape.

Works every time. Use one successful method. Build terror / paranoia around that method. Meanwhile, prepare and use another unexpected method. In the U.S., we’re STILL removing our shoes at airport TSA lines because ONE GUY attempted/failed to detinate an explosive in his shoe on a plane in 2006.

Repubs smugly paraded into Rm210 of the Cannon Building after Dems, staff, media, and public waited 30min for Speaker Johnson to coerce their votes prior to meeting. Repubs voted to gut Medicaid and SNAP, and protect the wealthiest from taxation. Disgusting.

Boyle (D) requested transparency / details of side-room discussion. Arrington (R) refused to share, denied any changes were discussed. Rep Norman (R) stated at the start of voting, “…I am excited about the CHANGES we made…”. Dems outbursted, “WHAT CHANGES?!” Voting continued. Dems were ignored.

I saw Mike Johnson entering the elevator to meet with Repubs (at 9:45pm, as I started to climbs the adjacent stairs). He never attended the Budget meeting, but made Dems, staff, media, public wait 30min while he coerced Repubs, including Chairman J. Arrington. Repubs smugly paraded in at 10:30pm.

I ATTENDED THE MEETING Sunday night at 10pm, by invitation (with 3 friends). Repubs entered 30min late, having side-hustled with Mike Johnson to make changes they refused to reveal, then forced a vote.
Meeting starts at 35min mark. WATCH & OBSERVE the CORRUPTION.

A sad state of affairs when the leader in the room mocks the protestors, “A made-for-CSPAN moment” (followed by a mocking chuckle by the committee leader and RFKjr).
Disgusting.

I’m all set with my popcorn to watch this part of the movie where all members of the regime take a maiden flight in this unsecure, unsafe monstrosity, …piloted by a nothing-to-lose kamikaze, aiming the Fascist air tube directly at Mar-a-Lardo.
And, scene.

There’s something wrong with the system when you have to sit and wait while he un-alives, assaults, kidnaps, scams countless innocent people for decades… until you finally arrive at pretend-money financial fraud …to have any potential grounds to impeach.

The mere fact that she (and the entire Regime) have not been “smote” by now provides much of the evidence I need to disprove the existence of a traditional “God”.
