When bigots believe merely existing is "confrontational", there's no level of existing that they'll agree with. Not even death, cus then they'll insist that grave markers should be wrong.
Instead, cut bigots out of the conversation all together. They have no need to be present. Ever.

I agree, we need stories from the POV of many different cultures and genders (especially trans and non-binary people) I think it would cut down on the 'remake craze' and bring people closer to positive change. :)
