I spend my time on sports, travel, photography, and writing. Latest book is the alternate history novel, Funny Money, published by Sea Lion Press. It is the sequel to Atomic Secrets and follows a British intelligence officer in an alt Cold War.

Streatham Redhawks #icehockey First time at a game. Not the last.

Just listened to @restisclassified.bsky.social episode on the Georgi Markov murder. David mentioned the Bulgarians having a reputation for being the KGBs go-to for wet-work and that it was in some Clancy technothrillers. Fleming used Bulgarians in Casino Royale the original #JamesBond book as well.

What an absolute pleasure to be at the #RoyalAlbertHall last night to witness #NatashaJonas vs. #LaurenPrice in a world title unification at welterweight. A great undercard too - #CarolineDubois #KarissArtingstall #FrancescaHennessy #boxing

The last 16 in the new Champions League format has thrown up some fun ties. Even though the format means the draw at this stage is only a 50/50, fans of several teams are sure to be gutted at the outcomes. Ties of the round? You choose: PSG Liverpool Bayern Bayer Madrid Madrid #ChampionsLeague

Re-reading all the original Ian Fleming Bond books. Of their time, but some great writing and storytelling. Just finished Goldfinger (film follows pretty closely). Short story collection - For Your Eyes Only next (not remotely like the film!). Favourite #JamesBond ?

A solution in need of a problem? It doesn't reduce fixture congestion. Ind, Aus & Eng already get most of the revenues. What happens when on of the 'Big Teams' is relegated? www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricke...
