We fly the Irish flag high here, too. I was pointing out that MAGA gets upset about flags of other nations flying at No Kings, other resistance marches. The Flag of the Confederacy is a flag of another nation as well, one that seceded from the US, yet they use it as their battle flag.

2/because the Confederacy is really what they want the US to become. No rights for anyone but white men.

1/So the T Admin is furious about the resistance waving “foreign” flags at their demonstrations? The Confederate flag, which MAGA and its fraternal orgs flies at every parade and event, is that of a self-proclaimed foreign country. Why isn’t GOP as exercised about that? Maybe

Represented South Dakota in the US House before elected Governor of South Dakota. She knew who he was and what she was doing.

The US citizen poor. Already immigrant kids in those plants, hire by employment contractors. They think that absolves them legally. Maybe. Doesn’t absolve them morally.

Harrison, K’s HQ. Most beautiful green state: rice dikes, cotton fields, Pig Trail, Buffalo R., Fayetteville, mountains and deltas. It’s “what lies beneath” that is so frustrating about it.

Because if they did, who would work in Tyson’s chicken houses and processing plants?

Reminiscent of Bush/Cheney sending troops into Iraq without proper body armor for the troops or their vehicles and tanks.

6/it’s why they arrest the immigrant, never their law breaking employers.

5/That’s been the GOP M.O. and why they never want to solve the “immigration crisis”—their donors depend upon immigrant labor. Also,

4/if we shut off the US drug market, shut down SA/CA gangs which make life there unbearable, where would the US get cheap, desperate-to -escape workers?

3/If rich white guys would knock off the coke and ketamine, there would be no US market—no one else can afford those habits. But,

2/When do they plan to start deporting Russian gang members?

1/But if the Whitehouse/GOP deports all SA gang members who will be their Breakfast of Corporate Champions coke and ketamine suppliers?

Nebraska, S Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma farmers are already dependent upon a disappearing resource, the Ogallala Aquifer, to farm at the current levels. You think they are willing to share?

Maybe this all out assault on Harvard could have been avoided if Baron had been invited to attend Harvard and T’s buddy, Alan Dershowitz, has been invited to the brunches and dinner parties of his Martha’s Vineyard neighbors?

6/You seem to be so sure of your views but have a lot to learn and to deal with. Good luck. One final thing: Diamonds are also an import—unless you go to Arkansas, where you can mine one yourself. Maybe check with Gov Sanders? That’s if she will take your call after FEMA denied her damage request.

5/If Ms R was pouting because you bought a Diet C instead of a Diet P she may not be willing to compromise on using in-country appliances or faucets to keep your construction project on deadline.

4/The “our finance guys” you were quoting are disseminating P2025 ideas, not running the CBO, where real CPA’s, statisticians, forecasters, financial historians work. You need to listen to qualified budget people, not GOP PR guys moonlighting as “economists”.

3/Also, be sure the tariff cost is included in the contract, not an open ended estimate listed as the customer’s responsibility because the marble tile she was talking about is from Turkey, not the US. Those faucets? Germany.

2/You will not be able to procure the high-end fixtures, fittings, finishes, furniture she has pinned to her Pinterest board tariff free. Sources are not stocking in US now, may be months to get orders to the US with one ship-date extension after another. Customs after all the cuts? Who knows.
