I grew up in Hannibal, MO. I had someone tell me with a straight face that they were avoiding the festivities because terrorists might attack “America’s Hometown.” 🤦♂️

Yep… he likes to tout out his libertarian creed from time to time on TV but he has shown himself to be an authoritarian and Russian asset through and through.

I guess those of us in St. Louis will have to secede and join Illinois. Might as well since I drove through a neighborhood still torn apart by the May 16th tornado with no FEMA assistance in sight. 😓

That’s him! Thanks, I had a vague recollection that I learned about him in 4th grade. From a teacher who also taught Sunday school at our Baptist church, interestingly enough.

You know, I vaguely remember in elementary school in the 80s one of my teachers shared the story about a woman who “became a man” in order to fight in WW1 (or 2?) and lived as a man the rest of his life, no one knew until he passed.
Trying to find out the name of that gentleman.

Cute how they “couldn’t breathe” wearing a mask during covid but now they don’t seem to have any problems.
Curious 🤔

These the same Democratic operatives who told Tim Walz to tone it down with the “Republicans are weird” comments and be nice to JD Vance in the VP debates?

I agree… I feel like the usual model of folks running them locally is a development crutch and the real power will be with hosted MCP servers that plug in to systems and data, like mcp.zapier.com does
(This isn’t an advertisement, I swear!)

I know people involved with the drupal migration, it was a big lift and the government is much better because of it.
I saw one of Sahil’s PRs, he believes “the right way” is for the content to be embedded in code instead of a CMS and was making statements to that effect. 🤦♂️

Got to work at a place where one of those exact landed. He really plays up the accolades around that rebrand.
