I'm genuinely disgusted at the idea that the company which launched with one of the most powerful mission statements about digital art is (allegedly) demanding that its electronic artists bend the knee to the almighty algorithm to ask it to pretty please kitbash them a pretty picture.

Tuberville has the perpetual look of someone whose lights are on but absolutely nobody is home.
Just an absolute vacancy between the ears.

I know it's a year out but Democrats retaking the House with as sizeable majority is a foregone conclusion - and, increasingly, Dems taking the Senate is looking more and more possible...

I will give Schumer exactly one credit for doing something but anyone spouting that being upset at the Democratic Party means we're somehow "stupid" or "lying" is a disingenuous clown that should be pointed and laughed at.
They are not serious people.

Don't get me wrong! The areas that Metro Rail DOES serve, it serves brilliantly and I've been fortunate to live near Red Line stations for the past four years. But a whole lot of Los Angeles, especially East LA, is kinda SOL.
I just want trains, y'all. Local. Regional. National. I just want more.

Actually, no. I'm gonna get started because I've been stewing on this for fifteen years: who on Earth thought that a city that's nearly 500 sq. mi. could get by with a subway system that only had ONE North-South corridor?! We only have six lines for the whole city and only TWO are Rapid Transit!

The Los Angeles Metro - the bus system, specifically - is a modern marvel, hamstrung by it having to share the roads with the cars its trying to replace.
Suggest a dedicated bus lane, tho? People will look at you like you have four heads.
And don't get me started on the subway system in this town.

The video game industry is changing, yes. It's going through a major transformative shift and you can make a very easy argument that what it's turning into is decidedly NOT GREAT but that requires more nuanced discussion than "Nintendo expensive."

I’m going to what Jamal Greene said send leave it at that. Based on your feed, you and I have nothing further to discuss and I’ll be blocking you if/when you show up in my notifications again.

BTW, the problem (and I do consider it a problem) of men not reading fiction is not a new one. This article, from 2012, was one of the earlier pieces published that made the case for men to sit down and read more.
Not only is reading fiction fun, it improves your cognition, creativity, and empathy.

I'll write about this at length at some point in the not-too-distant future (currently writing a few pieces as I'm TRYING to will myself to keep up with my blog), but the TL;DR:
- toxic masculinity
- misunderstanding of stocism
- a lack of community
- lack of knowledge/not knowing "where to start"

Nineteen scrolls.
It took me NINETEEN SCROLLS to get to the bottom of that chart.
Compensation is so out of whack, I swear to god...
