There are countless examples of this cowardice throughout history. None of them end well.

These are the last gasps of a nation that thought rave parties never end. Meanwhile, the nations they marginalized are slowly assembling a coalition that will obfuscate the imperium of America. It follows a trajectory portrayed in one of Aesop's Fables.

And yet they consistently lead in polling.

Uh...yes; and you will not be able to recover for a whole host of reasons.

Great idea but the likelihood of any enforcement under the current administration...0.

More, "I didn't think he would do that" are yet to come, in waves.

It's never going to happen. ALL of our technological innovations/innovators have been subsumed or stolen by the current capitalist plutocrats. While America beats its chest with an elected game show host & carnival barker compelling China to quietly catalyze the soon-to-dominate BRICS alliance.

Politics has now become a high school popularity contest. We love our slogans so here we go...it's hammer time, here comes the MC hammer!

Just by saying it's a "child of God" all is forgiven. The beauty of patronizing Christian deflections.

Except, someone has to have the temerity to take the reigns and boldly get back in the race.

Carney is certainly immensely qualified for the position. But we're looking for someone to entertain us with comforting tales. We have become something we used to tell ourselves we weren't.

It's just Trump being Trump going around grabbing as much pu$$y as he thinks he can get away with.

Trump looks as though he can't wait for her to shut up.

It all began in the 80s when Carter lost to Reagan and Falwell's 'silent majority'. You're now a full-on delusional Christian Nation waiting for Christ to return and save the world...GFL!

Those are two of Canada's most prominent public figures. It makes you proud to be Canadian to see how these arrogant, sanctimonious reprobates have managed to make empathy an unsavoury virtue and lying the primary quality for becoming the leader of our nation. 2025 - can't wait!

One might direct their gaze toward some of the more obvious offenders psychologically priming large swaths of humanity with narratives that continually advocate for these scenarios - like the Torha and the Bible.

Try to stay focused on the fact an election isn't a popularity contest. We're not voting in a king. Democratic elections are about voting in regional representatives and a governing party with platform proposals that provide prudent propitious principles. My apologies for the alliteration.

Not to marginalize Ms. Freeland's credentials, but IMHO Mark Carney has the bona fides when it comes to the economy and the climate crisis. The issue is Mr. Carney doesn't speak in slogans which seems to capture the ears of the general public.
