My biggest hesitation as someone that’s kinda out of the ecosystem but curious is that it seems like nextjs is the only one that fully supports it. Some have talked about Remix supporting it but is Remix still a thing now? It confuses me but it’s possible I’m also just out of the loop 😅

I think the js ecosystem in particular suffers from frameworks not having a built in way to do it- you have to piece everything together yourself and a lot of people won’t push through that friction for something as boring as tests

To be fair- I’ve never used those tools in an interview and I’ve frozen at that question before 😅 Some of us aren’t always great at forming coherent sentences

I sometimes have that happen and you start to get excited- then the pilot says, “we’re just waiting for one more passenger that had to go across the whole terminal” ☹️

Not an expert but it probably just sees that second one as a string rather than a hash so it doesn’t know to do the magic casting

Around here they have to pass levies to run the local schools and they always use busing as the carrot. “We’ll have to cut busing if you don’t pass the levy.” I don’t blame them- it’s hard to get people to vote for higher taxes

I do find some value in the conversational ai’s for understanding new apis or helping to reinforce something I just learned

Man that sounds terrible- I could be just weird but I find AI slows me down on most tasks. It’s like having someone constantly suggest subtly wrong things to you all day that you have to spend time understanding
