I have a dog and that’s not a happy dog!
That dog isn’t enjoying itself it’s just tolerating that circumstance because it has to!
Look at its ears!

That’s almost like it’s a policy designed for very rich people who couldn’t care less about the actual business because the land is worth far much more, so it’s all about inheritance tax… surely no one who isn’t would be stupid enough to vote for this…

We still have numbers US military bases over here, 13 of them currently. It’s a bit of an eggs out of a baked cake scenario.

He once tried to dominate my stepbrother’s toddler, he nipped just in front of him, that’s the only time I’ve ever purposely hurt him.
I didn’t hit him, I used my hand to grab the scruff off his neck hard. I felt bad after but it worked. That was there first meet and he was fine after that

Ozzy has never done that, just got to worked up, I don’t let him get that worked up, his barks got too aggressive

The bin cupboard yes!
Little sod, taught himself that one too, one of my old cats, Charlie’s mum China used to open doors!
She would just and hang off the handle, I’ve not had much luck with pets and doors 😅

Yes that’s the problem, people get dogs for the wrong reasons and those dogs won’t be happy. They are the ones that are potentially dangerous to!
You need to know dogs before you get one!
Even today I was playing with Ozzy and Shady and Ozzy started to get possessive so I stopped
comment in response to

Yes, Ozzy is half my mum’s dog and she’s retired so he’s never been with an owner, ever.
He fine left alone for a few hours, I actually recorded him to see what he does and he just went to sleep.
But he’s never been in a kennel

To be fair, I said the other day, I don’t think dogs are capable of jealousy because that’s a high level emotion, but I did some research and it turns out they are and I was wrong! 🙈
comment in response to

Absolutely, some people shouldn’t own dogs!
Especially some breeds, you need to know exactly what you’re taking on with a dog, they are a commitment

He was a street slut too!
We later found out he used to stay with 2 of our neighbours! 😅
comment in response to

False sense of security every time! 😅
Though he was an extremely affectionate cat. He was more like a dog in a lot of ways, he would greet all visitors that came to the house, we had to worn them, I hope you like cats because you’re about to meet one!
The other 2 were reserved but not him!
comment in response to

Yes he’s a Patterdale terrier, knows for being very loyal and defensive, Shady is actually a JR/Patterdale cross, that’s where the spots come from and she the latter of the JR traits with the loyalty of a Patterdale

I used to have 3 cats, had them for years and I would clip the very end because I used to play fight with them a lot, I do with Ozzy now too 🙈
My old cat Charlie especially, he was always game for a ruckus 😅
comment in response to
post
That’s a prime example of their personality’s Ozzy doesn’t like strangers at all, he won’t greet anyone unless he knows them, Shady, the little Jack Russell cross is the polar opposite, she’s actively seeks out affection from humans

Their descendants are odd…

With dogs and cats, I used to clip my cats claws all the time for the same reason, for my own safety! 😅
And I only ever take the sharp point off, my old cats I would clip about 3mm wide Ozzy I use an electric file (for dogs) and just take the very end, not as necessary with dogs

I was the same, dog as a child then cats for years, they got Ozzy when I was 30
I love cats, but dogs are a very different member of the family, they obviously rely completely on you.
Scientifically they’re social system is almost identical to ours, that’s why they are ‘man’s best friend’

Completely agree, except for I did have to cut Ozzy’s nails down a little because I was getting scratched while playing with him 🤣
comment in response to

My Ozzy would be great, he’s officially a ‘senior’ dog, he’s got the greys to prove it
comment in response to

I had to install child locks on cupboards doors after he figured out how to open them 🤣
He’s too intelligent for his own good.
You know dogs are the only animals we have a conscious ECG scan for, they’re the only animal we can train to that degree and that research is fascinating

He’s gone so grey bless him, lol, makes him genuinely easier to spot in the dark!
Dogs are supposed to go grey with age, just like we do, I didn’t know dying them was even a thing!
That’s a level of anthropomorphism I don’t agree with at all!

He’d struggle to run a bath.

They’ll be a positive feedback loop too as it gets attention from us, but it was initially their appearance, and he’s learned the sounds too because even if he’s not looking he reacts to the sounds

No I don’t think it’s that, I think one day when he was a little puppy he was eating a treat and he saw them on the big TV and he thought they were big scary dogs coming for his treat, I suspect this because he still guards his treats from them to this day

I’ll make a video tomorrow, a very short one but a quirk of Ozzy’s.
For some reason he doesn’t like the meerkats from the Compare the Market advert, he never has and now you just have to say the word “Meerkat” and he growls!
comment in response to

🤣
I know exactly what you mean, Ozzy will do what I tell him but he has to have the last bark!
He’s a very independent little dog, always has been, but he still has his little moments of affection.
comment in response to
post
Though contradicting myself, I’ve always found Ozzy responds just as well with gestures, I used to do it as a trick, make him sit, lay down, give paw and bark all completely silently

I couldn’t agree more, I’m less than not a fan I’m actively against it, but with dogs it’s hard not to and I’m not taking about clothing them or stupid stuff like that I mean in your daily interactions, everyone talks to their dogs and they can understand hundreds of words so that’s forgiven 😅
