The duality of #Taskmaster.

"It's going to be cooler tomorrow," great, fantastic, brilliant, "but Saturday could be up to 34°." Fuuuuuuuuuu

Nobody knew what Dark Lord of the Sith meant, but Vader was absolutely described that way in all the ancillary media, in all the promotional material and toys. Star Wars hasn't been just the films since about issue 7 of the old Marvel comics.

I've read the Thrawn trilogy adaptation. Hahaha "Luuke." I have read the actual books as well and I'm astonished at how fondly remembered they are when they don't hit with me at all.

Club World Cup UPDATE: Killian M'Bappe is in hospital trying not to shit himself to death. Or suffering from acute gastroenteritis if you want to be all medically accurate. At last a spectacle for the fans around the world.

Want a DOCTOR WHO story set in '50s Britain where the Master's TARDIS materialises, he exits, takes a few steps, looks back to see what the chameleon circuit has come up with and discovers it's disguised his TARDIS as a police call box.

Comics haven't gotten more expensive. Adjusted for inflation, comics with similar paper stock were pricier in the 1980s, when US comics were flourishing. They *seem* more expensive due to wage suppression.

The rest of the unit.

Today I'm conducting important research.

Isak to Liverpool, as unlikely as FSG breaking Liverpool's transfer record twice in one summer may be, would have the hilarious strategic side effect of pushing Newcastle into the striker market and competing with Arsenal for the top prospects.

No thank you Kindle store, I am not searching for "stalker romance" novels, I was happier being unaware of the genre.

The problem with a trending topics tab is that if it's a name that you don't recognize, there's an 80% chance that you're about to learn about a new terrible American.

Yeah, the Foot Knights look like they want to hack you to bits.

I had Darth Vader's Star Destroyer, the Millennium Falcon, the Snowtrooper heavy blaster and the Tauntaun.

I was worried that Trump was going to use the World Cup and the Olympics as a triumph of fascism. The evidence from the Club World Cup suggests that even football fans aren't going to go to America while there's such a hostile environment.

Hey, #DoctorWho fans! This is available as a lovely, glossy art print. You don't *have* to buy it, but all the cool kids have. www.ebay.co.uk/usr/scotgra-57

"I always dress for the occasion." #DoctorWho #TheMaster

In the Navy

It’s the anniversary of this tremendous Trifon Ivanov set piece at Euro 96. So satisfying for a coach when all that hard work on the training ground pays off.

"The first infiltrators, the T600 series had plastic skin..."

"It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear, and it absolutely will not stop ever, until you are dead."

I need y'all to stop and read the blurb for the Goodnight Sweetheart reboot novel. UK people absolutely DO NOT try and explain this and the original show to the Americans. You can't. I've tried.

Honestly, Oxford Street being pedestrianised is only strange in the sense that it's decades behind the rest of the country.

The last minute snipe pushed the price past £50, my max bid was higher.

2 hours to go, and nobody else has bid on the Ebay auction.

I've had it. I've told my artist they can finish this story by themselves. They've asked if I'm angry with them. I've told them they can draw their own conclusion.

With all the reality-meddling in the last 2 years of Doctor Who, RTD slipped one of the craziest implications under the radar: Dimensions in Time happened and the meta-aware Time Lady who survived the extermination of the Time Lords by changing her DNA.... looks a lot like Angie from Eastenders.

The Martian is the most recent film that I would put on my list. If Battle of Britain is on, I'll probably watch it. It's interesting how it's not necessarily a list of your favourite movies, and more a list of films you can watch no matter your mood.

the John Wick universe is what you get if someone explained everything about Vampire: the Masquerade except that the characters are vampires

The Bloodhound missile kit does look cool.

Spending far, far too much time thinking about Redcoats vs Zombies. AWI would be an interesting time to set it, everyone in the colonies is so isolated they don't know if this is a local phenomenon, or worldwide. And there's extra tension about exactly who you can trust in camp.
