"Bye Bye Braverman" (1968) directed by Sidney Lumet, is in the new Criterion Channel collection. It's uneven; turns into a road movie where the road is somehow all in the five boroughs. I laughed! But it bogs down in an extended joke about a marathon service and a Hamlet-inspired cemetery reverie.
