I had to re-read this a number of times because I spent most of yesterday in A&E at the hospital (Accident and Emergency)

I'm also sorry if this has been asked; I had heard that you and he had thought of writing a sequel together at some point, but how much of the plot had you guys discussed? I hope this isn't a sensitive question, I've been re-reading my DW lately collection and missing him

There's probably a great reason I'm not seeing, but you could probably get a stylus custom made to look like a fountain pen and use it with a tablet? Probably a lot of effort more effort than it's worth, but that's be one hell of an aesthetic.

Later on I wondered, "why aren't I including short stories?"
Because Neil's definitely penned a number I'd firmly list as Sci-Fi, so it seems like I've got some kind of prejudice there I didn't know I had.
(against short stories I mean. 'prejudice' might be too strong a word?)

It's just occurred to me, when reviewers say you write sci-fi, fantasy, and horror, is B5 and DW the sci-fi they're referring to? Other than a few short stories, I'm wracking my brain trying to think of any

I remember you had a story about a drug that did that, in Smoke & Mirrors. It left a profound impression on me, as a kid (most of your stuff did) and always thought it'd make a great movie

Why so many gunpowder subclasses, though?

The ones who are best at their jobs may see the writing on the wall, and I couldn't fault them for leaving, but does that necessarily make them good people?
