Exactly so. Really fast readers read blocks of text, rather than individual words. I read the same way, and it's interesting trying to explain to people how much of a difference font choice is.

I actually know this one: the "freedom seed" thing started because social media platforms (Facebook) would flag and remove even innocuous posts with the words "gun" or "bullet." So people interested in discussing them began calling guns "seed dispensers" and bullets "freedom seeds."
