This is an ongoing struggle that we and the community must fight to get Meath County Council to act. Sarajane & her family deserve a secure, appropriate home. Our government has shamefully failed them, as many other families. Housing should not be a commodity. (3/3)

The council have refused to accept the family onto the housing list, only recently making a stipulation that the expensive legal documents are provided, plunging the family into distress, debt and now homelessness.

Last December a group of us attempted to hand in an eviction notice to the israeli embassy and we got forcibly removed by the guards. That's all the Irish state did towards the israeli embassy, they protected it.

The endemic failures of neoliberal capitalism provides the social bases of fascism. It appeals to anger, grievance, emotion and violence all more predisposed in these socio-economic contexts.
Attacks against the LGBTQI+ will continue until we resolve this issue.
