@shortcircuit.org.uk Hi, regarding #RetroFest2025 Can you tell me if a quiet room/quiet space would be available for Neurodiverse visitors please? There may be people who would want to attend but feel that the crowds etc. may be a little overwhelming.

I'm going to go for another FatScreen build but this time, it'll be using a 10.4 inch screen. The lens I'll need to build will only just fit in the lathe and it'll need to be spot on centered. I've got a spinning arbour and used a 3d printed guide to stick them together with thermal tape. 🙂

Experiments with finishing 3d prints went well. It turns out that, if you print it thick enough and use car body filler, it sands a treat. The filler powder binds to the loose pla and stops it balling up. It needs a super tough clear coat on top but it's a great start. ☺️
