Thanks, John-Paul; I have the original of the skin-peeling page on my office wall. As usual, David Lloyd made it work beautifully.

They are nice editions; Alex Galer at DC did a really good job putting them together.

Is 'Fake Believe' out in the wild yet?
(Readers, I read it, and I think many of you might enjoy it)

I well remember 'Dead Boy's Heart' and the delight the art engendered when I first saw it...
I expect my copies are in the post.

Yes, but largely through familiarity with American usage.

Bit of a cheerless metaphor cocktail... sorry - but it's late and hot, and I might be a little more artificially relaxed than I probably ought to.

Interested to see how Reform fare in the polls after/if they win a few councils or a mayoralty. Guessing they'll have little clue how to run anything with any degree of efficiency or justice...

Rona? Roman.

My family history is unknown to me beyond grandparents... although my DNA is 98% west European - the other 2% from Syria, or thereabouts, probably some Rona soldier on a one night stand along Hadrian's wall.

I remember reading the John Prebble book on the clearances back in the 70s on a camping tour of the Highlands. Sheep and shooting estates, and abandoned ruins in the glens...

It's the 'it can't happen here' syndrome. Remember The Horrorist...?
