If it turns out that the Utah 50501 protest organizers officially sanctioned these armed yellow-vest security volunteers, then I would not be surprised if organizers get sued under a "negligent supervision" theory of liability — by all victims who experienced either physical or psychological harms.

basically if you do not have an extremely resilient sense of self/theory of mind and a strong willingness to repeatedly impose behavioral rules on the agent, extended interaction with the free tier of chatgpt is designed to make you psychotic. its psycho-affectively akin to licking a car battery

Keep a skeptical eye and ear about this story. I've already seen a ton of misinformation out there: "the yellow vest guys ran toward the gunshots" — which would be impressive indeed since the yellow vest guys are the only ones who fired.

FWIW one mammogram is less than 1/7th the radiation that you are exposed to on average in a given year. And breast cancer patients who opt for alternative therapies (after cancer diagnosis, not when caught on precancer screening) are 5x more likely to die than those who follow recommended protocols.

She also did this: "Minnesota passed a police reform law, negotiated by Hortman, that limits the use of neck restraints and chokeholds, prohibits departments from offering controversial warrior-style training, and creates an independent state unit to investigate when a police officer kills someone"

Many of the LA Sheriffs didn't have their gas masks on yet so the Sheriffs got gassed by LAPD
LAPD was on the radio crying about getting shot by rubber bullets by the sheriffs, so I'd say fair trade
Typical level of professional policing for Los Angeles. Waiting for CHP to join the fun.

Head injury = automatic ER visit. First 48 hours, watch for:
• Vomiting
• Seizure
• Slurred speech
• Weakness, numbness, or tingling esp. on one side
• Increasing confusion
• Increasing restlessness or agitation
• Extreme drowsiness
• Slow to respond to questions or stimuli

The difficulty of diagnosing and photographing bruises in victims with darker skin is a consistent factor not only in delayed diagnosis and treatment, but also in smaller settlements in lawsuits.
A 2022 study found that 📸 bruises using blue or purple light led to a 5x improvement in detection.

Still at large:
A right-wing theocrat assassin, armed legally, in fact certified by the state to run around in an almost-police uniform with high-powered weapons.
From the Christian faction closest to our lawless president, whom they treat as a messiah.

If you're not already following @chenoweth.bsky.social, I can't recommend it highly enough. They're one of the most valuable thinkers in the country at this moment.
Their work (and guidance!) has shaped my leadership for the past 10+ years. They're one of the best we've got.
