Despite all of the challenges - legal and meteorological - we did it! After 40 years of damaging deregulation, Greater Manchester has this morning successfully retaken control of the whole its bus network. 🙌🏻

The UK has youth mobility agreements with 13 other countries including Australia, Canada, New Zealand and India. So why not with the EU? Our own polling found 3 in 5 think the UK should negotiate a scheme with the EU, vs. just 15% who oppose the idea.

Stunning day out in the #YorkshireDales. Want to avoid the crowds of the Three Peaks? Stay on the train to Dent and walk to Great Knoughtberry Hill. Views are just as good and think I saw 2 people all day! #UkHiking #GetOutside #Settle #Ribblehead

Glad to have gotten out in the sunny @peakdistrict.bsky.social yesterday before the onslaught of rain. Views for miles and miles #peakdistrict #WinHill #Hathersage #Derbyshire #UKHiking #GetOutdoors

The railways don't have a good rep and you would think they try to avoid being stupidly petty and bonkers so they don't attract more bad pr. But no, we get this insanity. Almost like they hate customers www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/uk-news...

I believe it comes down to drivers ignoring the speed limit.

Day off work = day in the #PeakDistrict. Timed it well looking at the forecast for the rest of the weekend 😬

Weekend planning with OS Maps and Yorkshire Tea 🥾☕️ #OrdnanceSurvey #OSMaps #Hiking #Cartography

Playing with #FastAPI and having the most fun with Python in a while. Few hours work and had multiple functional endpoints with OAuth2 authentication. Great stuff.

Not many views in the #NorthYorkMoors today, but still great to get out after a stressful few weekends moving house 🥾

Yesterday, Greater Manchester approved free travel passes for young people who have experienced care up until the age of 25. Through devolution, important progressive steps continue to be made.

Well this place seems nice🦋. Please don’t let ads ruin it!
