I suspect they're getting seriously pissed off with people jumping on the "he's Moslem, he's not white" bandwagon. Mentioning up front that he is white and a family man - so there's no mitigating factors - means that's just one more issue they don't have to deal with.

Under FA Rule B21.1 the playing season in England ends on 31 May each year, unless extended by Rule B23, which must have been done for tomorrow's game.

Not sure. I think it depends on the day I think about it. I'm pretty sure Peter Mulvey, the Radical Sheiks, Willie Nelson or Chris Smither will be involved though.
