Just got myself these sets for my birthday. They look great!
Thanks for bringing that universe to life in a new format.

The bad news of course being that there is a whole range of LOTR cards. I thought I was safe with the commander decks.

Unknown Armies 2nd Edition might be worth a look. Played both the original setting and a bunch of sci-fi, cyberpunk and horror things with that ruleset.
I think it's the best lightweight narrative percentile system ever made.
Not the right thing when you want to minmax/game. Great to play whatever.

Is that like a bell curve enthusiast 2D6 or an actual D12? And if it's the latter then what is the appeal?

That's the correct answer for all us MERP/RoleMaster and Unknown Armies enjoyers.
Percentiles or death!

Ah thanks! Yeah on second look that looks right. Different angle and these look better than the gray-scale images they have on the shop.
They look very modernly proportioned and the paint job really brings out their inner infernal glow. 👿 Well done!

Great minis, great paintjob, great hats.
Where are the minis from if I may ask?
And what rules would you play them as in Old World?

Oh that's cool! Do it!
I also turned the legs backwards on some Armigers and thought that actually might look cooler with adjusted armor plating.
Also Knights are cool for making tons of mecha / robot conversions. Dreadnoughts are Armigers sized. 14 in a list let's gooooo.

Ah nice. I guess it's really just a different name for leadership.
Just cooler.

World Eaters don't need help from melee war dogs.
They got that covered.
It might be thematic but in terms of synergy adding shooting and back field holding sounds more like a hole Eaters need filling.

I'm wading through The End and the Death for my angel boy Sanguinus only and it is a sloooog.
Kingmaker was fun.
No marines involved.
