I was in a streetcar on King during the great snowfall of 1999, the yr we called the army for help. And the streetcar I was ripped the mirrors off a car to get by. But we were still stuck behind another, and several strong guys got off to move the car. Teamwork. Tow them; it's Rocket science.

Absolutely. I won’t see high speed in my lifetime. GO Transit has been promising service to Bowmanville for 25 years. The rail line to Muskoka was cancelled but there’s an air service!? Via’s one commuter train carries workers from Belleville and Peterborough to TO. Demand is there and will grow.

Oh sweetie, we've been promised GO service in Bowmanville for 30 years. Canada is fat and comfortable in it's car centric universe...thus Ford Nation gets a 3rd term to build another unneeded highway. We are a nice nation, but not bold enough to build a nationwide railway.

Nice. I might never have oranges again if I can't get them from sources beyond the US. I'm committed to living on winter vegetables 6 months a year. I'm really going to miss California wines. So sad. It was fun being neighbours. Take care of yourselves.
