Bunch people accused me of misinformation saying they’re targeting the disease not the people with the disease. I’d like to ask: you think autism and ADHD and neurodivergence is a disease? And why exactly (and how exactly) do you think it’s ok to reduce the number of people with these conditions?

WYOMING: “Thank you, Madam chairman.” “I prefer ‘Mister’ chairman.” “Well you all voted preferred pronouns cannot be compelled speech.”

This is not complicated: If you know a Jewish person or Israeli - we are all in mourning today. The hostages that have returned in coffins, including 2 babies murdered viscously, the hostages still in tunnels - We have a right to mourn our dead so don’t both sides this.

Maine’s Governor Janet Mills is a real one. It’s the body language for me. Look at how she sips water after she coolly tells him, “See you in court.” Then when he tries to scare her about her future in politics she just waves him off as if to say, “Boy please! I’m not thinking about you!”

I was asked to provide access to the course on the history of American slavery that I posted on Twitter back in 2020, and I'm going to take this opportunity to post the whole thread here with all the links to readings and sources. threadreaderapp.com/thread/12167...

"I will never forget teaching a physics major how to use a wrench. You know, when you divorce from practice- that is how you end up with the Cybertruck." @gluesenkampperez.house.gov

Great to be back at UChicago Institute of Politics tonight. Tune in.

Make a Frog and Toad movie, starring Jacob Batalon and Tom Holland, you cowards.

“Republican voters signed up for ‘The Trump Show: Politics Edition,’” writes Tressie McMillan Cottom. “Musk is producing and distributing that show, one chaotic bite at a time.”

On IG, Tressie Cottom points out this issue of Foreign Affairs which came out in 2019 for answers about the seemingly sudden personality/political changes among the super rich.

Well, the fact that I play the #Succession soundtrack in my headphones at work so I can dissociate is on the record.

If you’re afraid that books might change someone’s thinking, you’re not afraid of books, you’re afraid of thinking.

Who here likes books?
