My boss met with DOGE twice last week. Today I got an email from DOGE inviting me to a meeting. I immediately got a headache and chest pain. Turns out, my invite was a phishing scam. The entire government is more vulnerable to cyberattacks because Leon and Con want to run it like a business.

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source. Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

AI being used in social safety net programs such as SNAP and possibly housing is one of the worst things that can happen. Those are two jobs that require real human review. There be always context AI could never understand. There really is a need for oversight where AI tech can be applied.

I worked for SNAP in the past. They have given people 20$ even to some elderly citizens. I'm like y'all know damn well 20$ in a modern store is the equivalent of 5$ now. AI would just make things harder and not understand context of way too low amounts or ignore the context of college students.
