I took the best photo I couldn't imagine in Vietnam at Ninh Binh. A total random moment on the Tam Coc river

19 hours to finish The Legend of Zelda Minish Cap without any guide, and 90/100 Kinstone pieces. Not bad for a 20 years old GBA Game !

Finally, Fakutori's demo is out! Combine element blocks, plan your production lines and chat with the wakas... Time to gather your tools and start automating! Have fun! Play the demo and wishlist the game: store.steampowered.com/app/1459800/... Trailer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAj2...

Sousou no frieren - Traditional paper, ink, pencils. I love the anime, and now I want to buy the manga too...

Time to try Godot ! This Engine is not as easy as I expected, and install it on Linux was a mess because of Ubuntu <_<. The official documentation is very kind :) Wish me luck !!

I've never understood why Vanillaware's games were on the borderline between critical success and good sales. I'd like to suggest a possible answer after playing Odin Sphere Leithrasir: their graphical proposition isn't divisive, it's the choice of gameplay that didn't let them shine.

To avoid doom scrolling on social media, I'm taking my Analogue Pocket with me ! This FPGA Gameboy is a jewel ! But it cannot replace my GBA SP ... Do you recognise the game I'm playing?

Persona 5 is for seasoned players, but does Persona 5 Tactica miss its mark by being too easy, banking only on Phantom Thieves’ charm? A fun but shallow tactical RPG, lacking challenge and depth. Fans may enjoy it, but others should look elsewhere : my Persona 5 Tactica review!

With over a hundred games I haven't played yet, one of my goals for 2025 is to catch up in my game backlog ! Here's why and how (if you read French)

It's Chrono Trigger's 30th birthday, so I'm reposting this exceptional piece : Corridors of Time ! This song reminds me of the nostalgia of discovering a game. As if my childhood was lost forever.

This is the biggest game I’ve worked on: ChromaFlux, a 2D Die & Retry platformer with a SteamWave vibe. You have to change to the right color or anything else will kill you. It started as a Game Jam project in Strasbourg back in 2022, and somehow, we never let it go. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DIO...

Do you want more Japan pictures ? Always from my 2018 trip ! Tokyo - Asakusa - Sunshine City Mall Pikachu near the Pokemon center

In 2018, I took (a thousand) photos in Japan. I used some as Wallpapers, and I want to share them with you :)

Several years ago, I learnt programming by developing my first attempt at a game: Space PiouPiou. I learnt POO and a lot of other things on the fly. Unfortunately, I never released a game based on PiouPiou. It was too messy, the ideas too diverse, the scope not defined enough.

Last year, I prototyped an F-Zero Like. I used a Bezier curve generator, with custom code to define the centre of the generated tube as the centre of gravity. The aim is to be able to make 360-degree runs along the pipe!

I like coding procedural generation algorithms, and I hope one day I'll be able to use this one: it can generate maps of the world! I'd stopped at lakes and rivers, but I wanted to add towns, roads and buildings. It's very simple : it's just perlin noise supperposition 🤓

Do you need more of Dolce Gabbana exposition pictures 👀 ?

This weekend, I visited Miguel Chevalier's interactive exhibition Pixel. It was really fascinating and some of the interactions were really impressive. Sadly, it was too short ...

I've just been to the Dolce Gabbana, du cœur à la main exhibition in Paris! It's amazing how video games are directly or indirectly inspired by fashion! I wonder who inspires who! Loptr from Bayonetta 2 and exposition photos for comparison

In Dream The Cat, I came up with the idea of allowing players to design their own section of the game : Colors from PNG to Objects ! It's also my tool for creating obstacles. It's less trivial than a level editor, but it takes too long to develop one. Do you use level editors yourself?

J'ai publié l'intégralité du chapitre de ma BD "Morgan" réalisé en 1 mois pendant l'Inktober 2024 sur mon blog ! I've published the entire chapter of my comic strip ‘Morgan’, produced in 1 month during Inktober 2024, on my blog! japandoudou.com/2025/01/19/u...

Inktober 2024 day 19 and 20 : Ridge and Uncharted ! Morgan fall from the mountain to an uncharted forest. No Time to draw : Being sick and going to a wedding was not a good thing for my challenge ...

If you see this, please like or comment :) I put a lot of energy to make a manga / comics for the Inktober 2024. Day 18 : drive ! Morgan drive through the Night.

Inktober 2024 jour 17 : journal ! Elle a visiblement appris une nouvelle déplaisante ...
