The correct answer is it's a pretext to use emergency powers to fiddle with tariffs.

Are you trying to cite the wrong kim ark decision which held that the child of two "subjects of the emperor of China" was in fact a citizen despite passing of the explicitly racist Chinese exclusion act?

Isn't this a war crime or crime against humanity? Or did I miss some nuance here?

Pretty much. He told a whole bunch of strange bed fellows he would fix it all. Now he has to deliver something to someone. But, without the need for a re-election no idea what this will look like. Buckle up!

The Republican electorate has been effectively handled by trump. He got them to vote for people who will protect him when their constitutional job was to protect their voters. What can we even do with that?

The hopeful angle is just that if they are in prison and guilty it reflects on trump so they must go free... But that what's next from them is a deep dark pit.

They have seen it... Now asking their lawyers what they can say about it. That is what playing by the rules looks like. Playing by the rules also looks flat and feckless when there is a lot of cheating on the field. No conclusions here. Just this mess. Lol

Playing to the elitists who knows what a brown shirt is. It's great wordsmithing, but also probably why trump is president. Most Americans simply don't know what we are talking about about. Lol

By military standards, an O4 is still focused on being deadly and the tip of the spear. It's a rank that has not yet been required to understand soft power and strategy. It is exciting, it is as he says, a war fighter, but it is not qualified, absent relevant training and experience, to lead DoD.
