Currently looking into Minecraft plugin development again. It's been a long time since I developed my last plugin and figured it would be best to do a course first. I found an awesome course on Udemy and I'm looking forward to create my own public server after finishing the course! Stay tuned!

geospy.ai looks just like AI reverse geoguessr. If it works just as good as the demos, that would be equally impressive and scary.

The things that psychologically harm me the most are definitely not enough sleep and too much social media. Realization is the first step to improvement. But from my experience, spending less time on social media can be really tough.

Me and a few friends decided to try out one unusual, extraordinary restaurant every month. New cuisines, interesting dishes, concepts and so on. Really looking forward to these events. In addition to eating nice food, this idea led to the idea of my new project: Table Team.

There has been some progress. My new project Table Team is coming along great. So far I've only been working on basic functionality, but here's what I got so far: - Login/Signup - Language selection - Theme toggle - Profile editing - Profile deletion Now I'll start developing the specific features!

The first bricks for my latest small side project have been laid! Let me introduce you to "Table Team"! This should become an app where you and your friends can plan and schedule events to try out special, extraordinary restaurants!

I have started a side quest (A new small mobile app)! It's the first time I really planned most of the structure before starting development. Until now, I have made mockups/sketches, a database structure, database security rules and a list of the database functions needed. ...

I feel like YouTube is getting trashed with AI generated videos with monotonous voiceovers

I just had a SCARY conversation with ChatGPT. At some point, ChatGPT said that the given results may not be close to my location, with the exact (pretty small) city I live in. After that, I asked, how ChatGPT knew my location. ...

The hardest part about developing an app is bringing it to life. Once it has enough active users, it can live by itself. The way there is the toughest part.

A LOT has happened since my last update here: Here are the top additions to my current project: - Added localization for German and English - Added support for both iOS and Android - Some small fixes all over the app Stay tuned for more updates!

the hardest problem in computer science is where did I save the code I already wrote to solve this problem

I have just set up my new MacBook for development. Definitely going to take a look into Cursor, a promising looking, AI code editor based on Visual Studio Code. Merry Christmas everyone!

Todays addition to my current react native project: - Finished the rideout information page - Added signup functionality to rideouts - Users can sign up with a bike from their collection

I like free, ad-free apps. That's why I like to keep my apps free and try not to include annoying advertisements in them. This makes it a challange to generate revenue, but for now that's my way to go!

Why is there 300 character limit on new bluesky posts, but I can add an alt text of up to 2000 characters for every image I post?

Here's another sneak peak into my current react native project. This time you might guess what it's about. What is one feature the app needs to offer?

The profile page of my current react native project is coming together! Any guesses what it's about? It definitely includes somthing about motorcycles!

Just one downside about Expo: Expo sometimes wants you to use older versions of npm packages, which leads to you having to face known bugs without being able to do much about it. Even though they might be compatible with your react native version, Expo just doesn't seem to like them.

I am genuinely impressed of the bottom sheet I have just created for react native with ChatGPT. The first version I got was scarily good. All it took to be the way I wanted it to be was some tweaking and refactoring from my side. And I'm really happy with the result, let me know what you think!

I feel like supabase and Next.js can be one of the best tech stacks for web development. While supabase sometimes requires an additional backend, Next.js offers exactly this out of the box with server actions, while the frontent is extremely fast and easy to integrate!

For creating the MVP of my latest app, I try sticking to Expo and supabase for my tech stack. I hope I can keep the code clean and efficient without having to set up an own nodejs backend.

I have started to look into Expo after years of bare react native development. After some starting issues (that hopefully don't return), I have to admit: I kinda like it. The whole development workflow seems so smooth and building with EAS is a really welcoming change!

With a lot of new people joining Bluesky, quite some people seem to find and enjoy using the Motorcycles feed I created a while ago. Thanks for all the feedback and impressions! Let me know if you encounter any issues or have ideas for improvement! bsky.app/profile/did:...

The last few days were tough. Had to pretty much drop an app I am developing and I am lacking ideas of what to build next. I've got the time and the motivation, but I'm missing the creativity.

Don't stop being creative. Don't stop making things. Don't stop.

I love nginx it lets me turn all my services into a giant pile of reverse proxy config spaghetti

I don't know if the nanotexture screen on the new Apple MacBook Pro M4 is what I want. Does anyone have experience with this glass?

I am currently working on an achievement system for my react native app. Here's a sneak peak of it's current state, but I'm not quite happy with the UI and I might add some more achievements. Let me know what you think! #development #programming

Todays development progress of my react native focus app: I added a streak you can build up by entering the focus mode for more than five minutes a day. In addition to this, I have started generating/creating images for achievements you can get when using the app. #development #programming

I am starting to think about sharing more of my react native app development progress of my focusing app. What's a feature you'd definitely need in such an app?

I have started developing a new app with react native! It is (yet another) focus app that tracks your focused time in a somewhat game-like environment. I really enjoy building this app, even though there are quite some competitors out there. But there is one feature, that makes my app stand out!🤫

It's funny how Duolingo thinks I am so motivated that I do my lessons in the morning even though I do them just before going to bed after 12 AM.

I just homebrewed my Wii to play Mario Kart online again. It's so much fun but the lobbies are insanely competitive.

Aaand this was another lazy Sunday
