It seems a bit simplistic. No party has sufficiently defended the poorer 60% since Reagan. If no one looks after their interests due to hyper capitalism / neolib policies, they end up accepting fascism. See the rest of the world. Overall, its not looking great!

On the basis of 59 interactions when I looked 80% own more than they owe. This surely doesn't reflect the population at large even in an aging population where many will have paid a good whack of their mortgage. I imagine most people have a massive mortgage or own nothing. Am I wrong?
